The Indian Association of Social Science Institutions (IASSI) is a federal formation of universities and academic bodies involved in teaching and research in the social sciences. IASSI functions as a national platform to facilitate discussions on the experience and knowledge concerning education, research, training, and priorities in social science. The main objective of IASSI is to assist, facilitate, and promote interdisciplinary research and training on aspects of economic and social development. It was formed primarily to engage member organizations in meaningful dialogues and promote knowledge exchange on relevant teaching programs and social issues.
About IASSI Quarterly - Contributions to Indian Social Science
IASSI Quarterly: Contributions to Indian Social Science is a peer-reviewed quarterly journal of the Indian Association of Social Science Institutions (IASSI). The IASSI Quarterly is an interdisciplinary publication of theoretical and empirical research in social sciences. Researchers are invited to write articles, commentaries, research notes, and reviews focussing on a range of topics related to economy, polity, society, culture, development, and policy.
It is published four times a year, for the quarters January-March, April-June, July-September and October-December.
